Actress Kajal Aggarwal Takes 15% Stake in Okie Gaming Platform

Kajal Aggarwal has taken a 15% s﷽take in Mum♋bai-based Okie Gaming with an undisclosed investment.

Aggarwal will also join the company as a board member. ✃Jitin Masand founded Okie Gaming as a division of Okie Ven♔tures, where Aggarwal was a brand ambassador.

Comme🀅nting on her investment, Aggarwal said: "The gaming industry is booming at this time, this is the right moment to be part of it. A passionate gamer myself, we hope to bring the finest user experi♔ence with our innovative and quirky games. With Okie Gaming, I also hope to influence and open new avenues for women gamers in India."

Jitin Masand, managing director of Okie Ventures, added: "We are excited to welcome Kajal into the Okie family as a strategic partner. Kajal'🐎s personal interest in⛦ the gaming industry, wide reach and appeal will help the brand scale up to a much higher level. She is an involved investor who brings a unique set of ideas and insights to Okie Gaming."

Masand also said the company will release 25 games by the end of December and expects to have 1 m𝔍illion downloads and 100,000 regular users by then.

Aggarwal is not the first Indian film face to get involved with the online gaming space. Back in June, Games24x7 🌜launch𓆏ed a new digital campaign with Bollywood stars including Aparshakti K𓆏hurana, Varun Sha🎉rma, Vir Das, and Manjot Singh.
