Dream11 Buys AI-Driven Fantasy Sports Start-up FanDuniya

Dream Sports, owner of fantasy sports giant Dream11, ℱhas bought start-up FanDuniya for an undisclosed sum, according to reports at .

A source told Inc42 that the deal was completed this month. After the acquisition, FanDuniya founder Ramkumar Venkatasubramanian and cofounder Viswanath Kౠommalapati have both joined Dream11-owned FanCode, 🍬as indicated on their individual LinkedIn profiles.

F🐲anCode, l𒁏aunched by Dream11 in March 2019, is an ad-free multi-sport aggregator. It can be personalised to display news, live match scores, research-based insights, fantasy sports statistics, expert fantasy tips, game analysis, and offer a way to engage with other sports fans.

FanDuniya was founded in 2018 and targeted fantasy cricket players, giving them access to a wide range of new articl♊꧙es, statistical tools, and AI-driven models to help players make their fantasy picks.

The FanDuniya website is currently inaccessible, which suggests that it may be merging with FanCode's platform. The company's mobile app is also now missing from the Google 🌸Play Store and iOS App Store.

Dream11 and FanDuniya have already been in collaboration this year with YouTube videos under the name of 'Dream11 Expert Predictions by FanDuniya' released ahead of IPL matches. Dream11 is the title sponsor of this year's IPL.

FanDuniya is not the only start-up linked with a sale to Dream Sports. Gaming start-up SoStronk was reportedly in advanced talk🌞s to be taken over b🧔y Dream Sports last month.
