Former advisor to Rajya Sabha start fantasy sports website
A soon to be launched Indian fantasy sports website, StarPick.in, has signed an agreement with Sweden-based Scout Gaming Group to avail its daily fantasy spo🥂rts platform.
The new fantasy sports platform is schedule𝔉d for launch at the end of this month and is operated by Bengaluru-based StarPick Fantasy Pvt. Ltd., which is a 100% subsid♑iary of UK-based StarPick Ltd.
Under the terms of the agreement StarPick will gain access to Scout Gamings complete DFS-platform and will start off with a cricket fantasy ga🃏me initially, before foraying into other games such as European football.
Commenting on the development, Andreas Ternström, CEO at Scout Gaming said, “To date we have focused our sales activities in Europe, but the potential for DFS in India is large why the agreement with StarPick is exciting. Cricket is the dominating sport in India which makes it possible t🐟o reach a large number of potential DFS-players. As a result of the cooperation with StarPick we will be able to offer cricket to all of our customers going forward.”
StarPick which has already announced cooperation with leading television and media company NDTV and other websites, is promoted by Ulf Ekberg (Chief Visionary Officer and Head of Partnerships), Trigam Mꦦukherjee (Chief Operating Officer) and Rohit Nayar♚.

Mukherjee is the founder of media firm PR, The Prophets, and has, in the past, leꦚd public affairs at Jupiter Capital. He has also been a strategic ad🃏visor to Republic TV promoter and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
Nayar is an entrepreneur who se🌱rved as the Director and Group CFO of Hyperbiotics, a fast-g❀rowing ecommerce driven nutraceuticals company.
Speaking on the decision to launch a fantasy sports✤ portal, Mukherjee in a press release said, “We are proud to launch StarPick Daily Fantasy Sport in India.
