Fledging gaming start-up EWar has announced the notable sig꧋ning of industry ve🌞teran Satya Mahapatra as an advisor.
Mahapatra will bring more than 15 years of experience in launching and developing gaming start-ups in India🐬, the US, and the UK to the Bengaluru-based business.
Formerly the chief marketing officer of skill gaming company J✃unglee Games, Mahapatra has also held key stakeholder roles at Gamesys Limited (UK) and Parꦉty Gaming, which is now part of global gaming giant GVC.
In a press release, Mahapatra said about EWar: "Capitalising on the rising popularity of competitive gaming in India, EWar now wants to strengthen its roots inܫ India, position itself as a leading, g🧔o-to-destination for e-sports enthusiasts in India, and eventually take Indian e-sports players to the global levels."
EWar is a new entrant to esports in India, with a vernacular app where players can compete a�♐�gainst each other across various games to earn money in one-on-one battles, leagues, and in tournaments.
It recently raised US$200,000 (approx. Rs. 1🍌.5 crores) in funding from angel investors.
