Ahmedabad: Man selling Ghughra on road was arrested for allegedly betting on India-South Africa match

On January 20th, Ahmedabad Police a✨rrested a man selling Ghughra on his cart for betting on India South Africa One Day International series. Vadaj police said that a 30 year-old man named Ketan Ruparelia from Ghatlodia was inviting bets at his ca🃏rt which was parked in the lane near CU Shah College near Income-Tax Circle.

The Cops also came to know that Ketan Ruparelౠia was using a betting app wherein he was inviting bets on the India South Africa ODI match, as reported by TOI. The Cops found betting related information from his UPI transactio🅘ns. Later they seized his cellphone too.

The Police ܫdiscovered that Ketan Ruparelia was provided an ID for the mobile betting app by Nayan Patel and Vikas Thakkar, the other culprits. The Cops have arrested Ruparelia and are in search of Nayan and Vikas.
