Mobile Premier League (MPL) on Tuesday signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding with the Telangana government enabling them to open a game development center in the state’s capital Hyderabad, with plans to employ 500 people. The signing ceremony took place at the digital entertainment festival IndiaJoy and was marked by the presence o🌳f MPL CEO Sai Srinivas Kiran along with principal secretary for information technology, electronics and communication department, government of Telangana, Jayesh Ranjan and minister for information, technology and industry K.T. Rama Rao, as reported by IANS.
The agreement will see the gaming platform being allotted a seating facility with a capacity of 500-members at the IMAGE Towers in Hyderabad, in exchange for the company sharing technological information and helping employ youth from the state. The same shall be undertaken in collaboration with the Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge (TASK), with a focus on animation, game development and sporting courses to further the skillset of the state’s youth while providing them a platform to showcase the🐓ir talent gainfully.
The deal marked a successful ꩵbeginning to IndiaJoy, Asia’s largest digital entertainment festival with an aim to bring together industry leaders to air out new ideas and collaborate to help reach new milest꧑ones.
